VCA Midwest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center is expanding our Medical Oncology Team and seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant!

Schedule: Full-time opportunity. 4 x10 hour shifts, Monday - Thursday.

Compensation: $ 17 - $ 21 / hr.

Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with chemotherapy administration and safety protocols

• Handling oncology patient intakes, treatments, and follow-up appointments

• Providing compassionate support and clear communication to pet parents

• Performing radiographs and submitting labs

• Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment logs

Qualifications:

• 2 + years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant
