We are seeking a part-time Oncology Pharmacist (Clinical Trials) to join our at our team. This role presents an opportunity to assist with a rapidly growing and developing service, working in a collaborative team environment with the primary purpose to provide high quality Pharmacy services to cancer care patients, whilst specialising in our expanding Clinical Trials.
The Role
This role reports to the Chief Pharmacist. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a growing Pharmacy team. This position may be appointed at either Grade 2 or Grade 3 level, depending on the successful candidate's experience, qualifications and demonstrated expertise in oncology and clinical trials pharmacy.
The role comprises involvement in the preparation of a variety of parenteral cytotoxic and non-cytotoxic medications, medication reviews and reconciliation, clinical screening of oncology and clinical trial protocols, provision of clinical pharmacy services including drug information and education, and management of clinical trials and compassionate access programs.
Experience in Oncology Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy, dispensing software, aseptic manufacturing techniques, clinical trials and MOSAIQ Oncology Informatic software will be highly regarded.
