Job title: Oncology Hospital Specialist

Location: South London and Kent (remote, field based)

Reports to: Regional Business Manager - UK Oncology

OVERVIEW:

Are you an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional with a passion for oncology? Lilly is looking for a standout Oncology Hospital Specialist to join our successful oncology sales team.

You'll work alongside a skilled, integrated team across sales, marketing, PRA, and medical — helping shape strategy locally and nationally and directly impacting patient outcomes across Lilly's oncology portfolio.

THE ROLE:

You'll use your industry knowledge to identify and engage key HCPs across your territory, building strong relationships that drive our oncology priorities forward.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Achieve/exceed sales targets through a mixture of focused customer interactions – including face to face, virtual meetings & digital avenues.
• Develop & maintain product knowledge of own therapeutic area & appropriate competitor products.
• Define, prepare and implement your territory business plan with strong cross-functional collaboration, aligned with the brand strategy and maximising execution of key tactics.
• Support HCPs by continuing to develop / grow their key capabilities in line with the company culture.
• Partner with the VAM team, MSL and key head office colleagues to ensure good teamwork and support of the customer base, leading to optimum business achievement.
• Demonstrate high integrity & compliance at all times.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales, with a genuine long-term interest in a sales career
• Specialist therapy area experience
• Winning mindset, with a desire to win in a highly competitive environment
• Proven track record in identifying and converting business opportunities into growth
• Strong team player and strategic account manager
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills (internal and external)
• Strong in-call selling skills, key account management, business planning, personal accountability, and flexibility
• Ability to make data-driven decisions that impact business results
• Proven ability to execute P2P/eP2P meeting programmes
• Experienced in developing regional and national thought leaders
• ABPI qualified
• Full UK driving licence

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & PREFERENCES:

• Experience within oncology or haematology
• Experience in the private market for oncology
• Market access experience
• Ability to sell a portfolio of products
