Job Description

As an Onboarding Officer for Video KYC (VKYC) under Kotak 811 Digital Banking, you will be responsible for completing full KYC verification for customers via secure video calls. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth, compliant, and customer-friendly onboarding experience. You will verify customer details, ensure documentation accuracy, and maintain high service standards throughout the VKYC process. In addition to KYC verification, you will also engage in cross-selling banking products, providing accurate product information, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role demands excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor to represent the bank effectively.
Conduct secure video calls with customers to complete full KYC verification.
Verify customer-submitted details and ensure documents match the application.
Confirm VKYC is completed by the correct individual (Right Party Verification).
Maintain a courteous and professional relationship with customers during the KYC process.
Cross-sell relevant banking products and services during interactions.
Provide complete and accurate information about products pitched to customers.
Follow up with customers who are unavailable during initial contact and ensure timely callbacks.
Meet defined targets for VKYC conversions and cross-selling.
Ensure customer delight through consistent service and timely resolution of queries.
Maintain detailed records of calls and customer interactions.
Adhere to information security norms and quality process standards.
Stay updated on process changes and implement feedback from team leaders and quality coaches.
