Leading the end-to-end delivery lifecycle across multiple teams, this role drives the implementation of partner platforms and fund onboarding initiatives, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, to a high standard, and with a strong focus on partner experience. Working closely with Product, Technology, and external partners, the Delivery Manager coordinates priorities, manages risks and dependencies, and empowers cross-functional teams to deliver value efficiently while supporting TAL's strategic growth objectives.

You are accountable for the delivery health of VS1: risk and dependency tracking, release readiness,

cross-platform coordination (cloud, cyber, infra), and the testing and UAT processes that determine what

In this role you will:

  • Own end-to-end delivery cadence across VS1, optimising ways of working to improve
  • flow and enable rapid iteration.
  • Set and maintain prioritisation across squads when demand exceeds capacity, drawing on
  • inputs from business, product, and technology.
  • Own the internal testing process and release readiness gates, determining the when
  • and how of what ships.
  • Identify delivery risks early and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on delivery commitments.
  • Respond to shifting partner needs, business goals, or market conditions by adapting plans and
  • execution as necessary, while maintaining delivery integrity and stakeholder transparency.
  • Maintain delivery health metrics and provide regular, accurate reporting on delivery status, risks, and progress.
  • Serve as the primary delivery interface for super fund partners and Administrators, coordinating implementation activities and ensuring partner-facing commitments are met with clarity and
  • accountability.
  • Lead and support delivery team members through coaching, feedback, and professional
  • development.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of delivery management experience in a technology organisation, with a proven track record of leading end-to-end software delivery across multiple squads or workstreams
  • Demonstrated experience operating in a product and value stream-oriented delivery model, with strong understanding of agile principles, delivery cadence, and continuous delivery practices
  • Experience managing delivery in a regulated industry, ideally financial services or insurance, including familiarity with compliance and regulatory obligations as part of delivery planning
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional dependencies across technology domains (cloud, cyber, infrastructure) and managing delivery risk in complex, multi-team environments
  • Solid understanding of testing and release management processes, including UAT coordination across multiple business units and fund-side stakeholders
  • Experience in partner or customer-facing delivery programmes, including managing external expectations, implementation coordination, and change communication
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience
