All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.
Purpose:
You will be responsible for the management of a team (2 to 5 people) of mechanical engineers for interventions on steam turbines in power plants.
Essential Responsibilities:
Supervise your team of field engineers in the field and carry out assembly, repair and maintenance work of high-power steam turbines in power plants, on-site at our customers' sites. or in our workshops in France and abroad;
Participate in mechanical work done on site or in our workshops in France and abroad. Participate in the work of updating the technical documentation related to the site activities. To guarantee the respect of the intervention times:
Appropriate the instructions of intervention and prepare the works (anticipation of the needs of tools on site or workshop, spare parts ...);
Report on the progress of work (transfer of instructions, ...);
Carry out quality monitoring and traceability of works (PV, reports, Quality plan follow-up, ...);
Perform all the administrative tasks related to his position and to the various missions entrusted to him. Ensure the security and strengthen the EHS culture of all stakeholders under its responsibility in accordance with Group rules;
Report all dangerous situations for yourself, others or the environment, to competent people as soon as possible. Qualifications / Requirements: You have a Baccalaureate Pro or Bac + 2 with a predominant mechanical, production, industrial maintenance or machining technician (or equivalent experience / knowledge). You have significant experience in mechanics, haulage or machining (maintenance field) and team supervision. You have knowledge of safety and the environment and of skills in handling and metrology. Mandatory French and Operational English is a plus;
Mastery of the Office Pack (Word / Excel);
You have an excellent relationship, team spirit, taste for the field, are organized, rigorous, dynamic, strength of proposal and recognized for your managerial qualities. Desired Characteristics: The position is functionally attached to the project leader and hierarchically to the Customer Service Manager. 100% roaming extension requiring full availability for frequent short and medium-term trips, including weekends and holidays, in France and abroad. B license and personal vehicle required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent with solid technical competencies (Power Plant / Thermal Power / Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic/ Control Engineering etc.).
Fluent in English (spoken/written). * Strong PC Skills.
Preferably have relevant experience on GE gas/steam turbines and generators.
Good knowledge of machinery operation.
Good sense of safety and security.
Home based within domestic China.
