As part of ET, you will be at the forefront of enabling innovative technologies, including emerging collaboration tools and world-class infrastructure.

Our aim is to deliver an outstanding customer experience through continuous innovation, supported by operational excellence that ensures efficient, high-quality services and solutions. You will work closely with technologists and business specialists in a fast-paced environment, offering exciting learning opportunities, career growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact.

The Opportunity

As part of Enterprise Technology, the On-site Technology Support Specialist plays a key role in helping our customers achieve their objectives and contribute to building a better working world. This is achieved by delivering fit-for-purpose, high-quality support services.

This role provides on-site technology support by performing a wide range of technical activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to prioritise tasks, work across multiple hardware and software platforms, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with or coordinate hardware repairs and software reinstallation to resolve end-user incidents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to standard end-user hardware and software, including mobile technologies, while identifying trends to prevent recurring issues.
  • Provide after-hours support for escalated issues, under minimal supervision.
  • Perform asset management activities (procurement, inventory, tracking, distribution) in line with EY policies and processes.
  • Provide off-site technical support for firm-sponsored events and meetings.
  • Support office moves, buildouts, and relocations from a technology perspective.
  • Act as “remote hands” for other ET functions (e.g., Telecommunications and Hosting).
  • Maintain a strong understanding of EY Technology services to effectively support end-user needs.
  • Anticipate and resolve technology issues that may impact productivity.
  • Work under direct supervision, with regular guidance on task allocation and performance.
  • This role requires physical presence and is based on-site at an EY office.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve escalated end-user incidents.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and communicate effectively with end users regarding progress and timelines.
  • Sound decision-making skills within the scope of individual user issues.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to engage effectively with all levels of end users and IT personnel.
  • Strong collaboration skills with peers and supervisors.
  • Approximately 2–4 years’ experience in end-user technology support.
