Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package and RRSP program.
If you have:
- Strong general inventory and material-handling skills
- Good knowledge of tools, materials, and Tool Crib operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, investigate, and report issues
- Familiarity with data entry, inventory transactions
- Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to learn and effectively use inventory management and other computer-based systems
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and complete assigned work with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude with strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to respond to customer inquiries promptly, professionally, and accurately
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate information and solutions
- Ability to follow up on customer requests, orders, quotes, and issues through resolution
- Ability to clearly explain processes, procedures, and inventory information to customers and employees
- Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company positively while working at the customer site
A typical day may look like this:
- Provide on-site customer service addressing customer needs and issues.
- Receive, stock, pull, and fulfill customer orders based on department schedules.
- Use system functions to locate available inventory and process inventory transactions accurately.
- Manage AutoCrib vending machines, including replenishment and basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Manage various Point-of-Use (POU) stations and ensure materials are available as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
- High school – Mandatory
- Post-secondary education preferred (CEGEP, college diploma, Degree or equivalent). Equivalent combination of education and customer service experience will also be considered.
