About the Role

We are seeking a Full-time On-Site Maintenance Technician to support a residential community in Gardena, CA

This role includes a rent discount, giving you the opportunity to live on-site in either a 1-bedroom unit, making this a strong value position for someone looking to combine work and housing.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with residents, vendors, and team members
  • Ensure community cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall property standards
  • Complete daily work orders and assist with unit turns
  • Perform general maintenance, including:
    • Plumbing
    • Electrical
    • Painting
    • Appliance repair
    • Basic HVAC
  • Clean and maintain common areas, amenities, and grounds
  • Identify and report maintenance issues proactively
  • Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents
  • Support the Community Manager and team with maintenance-related needs

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related experience
  • Experience in: Electrical, Plumbing, Plumbing, Carpentry/woodwork, Tile work & Water line installation
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs+
  • Must have:
    • Basic hand tools
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Trade certifications are a plus
