
The Business Analyst is responsible for building, testing, implementing, and supporting the electronic health record (EHR), including release upgrades, system optimization, and process improvement activities related to business operations. This role supports new initiatives while maintaining systems to ensure regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness. The Business Analyst participates in multidisciplinary workgroups to identify and implement technical and application-based best practices that enhance healthcare operations and align with the organization's mission and strategic objectives. Working collaboratively with teams across the organization, the Business Analyst also provides hands-on training and support as needed while consistently demonstrating the F.I.R.S.T. values of Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust.

Various means of contact with associates, contracted support staff, vendors (sales & support), other healthcare organizations, etc. Contact includes, but is not limited to, phone calls, in-person or virtual meetings, e-mails, chats, fax, etc.
EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Knowledge of clinical information systems. Good verbal communication skills, analytical skills, required. Personal computers (desktops, laptops, virtual desktops, tablets) and other related hardware and software. Excellent oral and written communications skills required. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Experience with EHR/Practice Management data analysis etc. Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong ability to work on and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to facilitate, design, and document workflow processes.
