Business Analyst II (On-Site)
Location: Mount Horeb, WI
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Position Overview
The Business Analyst II is responsible for leading business analysis efforts, supporting complex projects, and driving improvements in business systems and processes. This position goes beyond foundational support by taking ownership of initiatives, partnering closely with leadership, and ensuring business systems effectively support operational and strategic goals.
This role serves as a key bridge between business operations and IT, providing advanced analysis, project coordination, and system support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead or co-lead cross-functional projects from planning through implementation
- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure successful execution
- Facilitate meetings, document requirements, and track action items
Business Systems & Process Optimization
- Analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation
- Develop and implement process enhancements that increase efficiency and data accuracy
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into system solutions
- Partner with leadership to align systems and processes with business strategy
IT & Systems Support
- Serve as a primary liaison between business units and 3rd party external IT
- Support and troubleshoot business systems, including ERP and integrated applications
- Lead testing efforts (UAT, system upgrades, enhancements) to ensure functionality and accuracy
- Assist in system implementations, integrations, and upgrades
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Utilize data to drive decision-making and provide actionable insights
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics
- Write and utilize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from business systems
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across operations and financial performance
User Training & Adoption
- Develop and deliver training programs for new systems and enhancements
- Support end users and ensure successful adoption of systems and processes
- Create documentation, job aids, and standard operating procedures
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with department leaders to understand operational challenges and opportunities
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Act as a trusted advisor on systems, data, and process improvements

- Bachelor’s degree required in one of the following:
- - Computer Science
- - Supply Chain Management
- - Finance
- - Economics
- 3–5+ years of experience in business analysis, project support, or systems-related roles
- Strong understanding of business systems, data structures, and IT processes
- Experience supporting or leading system implementations and process improvements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems required
- Working knowledge of SQL or ability to write queries to extract and analyze data
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and lead discussions
Preferred

Qualifications
- Experience in agriculture, supply chain, retail, or multi-division operations
- Experience with project management tools or methodologies
- Experience building dashboards or reports
