Umpqua Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center | Roseburg, OR
Pay Range: $48.00/HR–$49.25/HR
Based on licensed experience
PRN Opportunities Available | 1–2 shifts per week required
Weekend availability required: 2 weekend shifts per month

What You’ll Do
As an RN, you will play a key role in providing safe, compassionate, and individualized care to our residents. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing resident needs and providing appropriate nursing care.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
- Monitoring resident conditions and responding appropriately to changes in health status.
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Supervising CNAs, LPNs, and other nursing personnel in the delivery of resident care.
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Following all applicable state and federal regulations, facility policies, and standards of nursing practice.
- Advocating for resident comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life.
What We’re Looking For
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Previous nursing experience preferred.
- Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively supervise and support nursing assistants, LPNs, and other care team members.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for caring for others and improving residents’ quality of life.
- Ability and willingness to follow state and federal regulations governing nursing practice.
- Availability to work 1–2 shifts per week and 2 weekend shifts per month is required.
- Flexibility to work PRN shifts as needed.
