
Job Title: On-Call Juvenile Intake & Assessment Officer
Department: Community Corrections Division: Intake
Reports To: Director or their designee
Pay Range: 1 Status: As Needed
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
The As-Needed, On-Call Juvenile Intake and Assessment Officer conducts intake and assessment on children-in-need-of-care (CINC), status offenders (SO) or juvenile offenders (JO) in custody by law enforcement, and coordinates emergency placement such as relative placements, foster care, emergency shelter, attendant care or detention placements on evenings, weekends and holidays. The assessment interview includes an in-depth face-to-face interview with children and youth.
