Job Title: On Air Host (KRLD-FM 105.3 The Fan)

Reporting To: VP/Brand Manager

Overview:

105.3 The Fan, DFW’s Sports Station is looking for a Part Time Sports Talk Host. We are looking for superstars. Hosts must have knowledge and passion of the Dallas/Fort Worth sports world and our team at The Fan.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative
• Perform sports updates
• Communicate with co-host, producer and program director to ensure program goals are met
• Interact with the audience on-air and via social media
• Maintain strong contacts and relationships with local sports brands and across the sports industry
• Create content for website and social media channels
• Prepare and research for broadcasts
• Protect brand with FCC license
• Ensuring that promotions and contests are executed properly
• Making personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
• Other duties as required by management.
• Knowledge of DFW Sports and National Sports
• Entertainment value with content creation
• Sales coordination with clients

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

• Synergy with co-host and ability to work on multi-host sports show
• Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills
• Knowledge of the format and audience required
• A demonstrated track record on air or through digital media
• Knowledgeable of FCC guidelines
• Major Market on air experience
• Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays as this job may require it
