The Omni Demand Generation (ODG) Marketing Team Lead leads the team responsible for our demand generation model for the North Europe Hub (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland). He/she oversees our ODG efforts, bridging the gap between Regional Brand strategy and local market execution and is the owner of the Hub Brand Experience Plan (BEP).

The ODG Marketing Team Lead partners with the Commercial Country teams as well as Hub Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) including IBE/Media, Content, Digital Tools and Analytics to develop a synchronized commercial calendar that aligns brand activities with commercial execution.

The position reports into the ODG Director of the North Europe Hub.

Responsibilities include the following but not limited to:

  • Brand Experience Planning (BEP) Ownership: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of Brand Experiences within the cluster to drive brand purchase and advocacy. Ensure activation plans are deeply rooted and informed by "Moments that Matter" in the pet parent journey to drive demand.

  • Integrated Commercial Planning: Develop and manage a synchronized commercial calendar that aligns brand activities with commercial execution.

  • Performance & Measurement: Partners with ODG Analytics to develop all Business Performance & Monthly Discipline tracking & key driver analysis.

  • Oversees competitive intelligence tracking & implementation of competitive-response plans.

  • Shopper Marketing: Develop Shopper strategies and materials to drive demand across the Cluster. Oversee the creation and deployment of omnichannel Point of Purchase (POP) assets.

  • Insights to Unlock Growth: Conduct in-depth analysis of the competitive landscape and category developments to identify actionable insights that drive measurable growth.

  • Content Strategy & Localization: Partner with IBE/Media team to develop a localized content strategy rooted in the BEP including local and cultural overlays.

  • Performance Management: Co-manage cluster P&L and drive monthly discipline through brand performance reviews and MoDi (Monthly Discipline) analytics.

  • Commercial Capability & Enablement: Develop 7P strategies including pricing strategy and provide detailing and customer materials and training for sales teams.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Growth Mindset: Ability to operate in a fluid, cross-commercial environment where budgets are reallocated based on a holistic view of performance.

  • Omnichannel Oriented: Deep understanding of the Shopper journey & ‘Moments that Matter’ across the vet, Brick & Mortar and eCommerce channels.

  • Analytical Proficiency: Ability to leverage AI-enabled internal and external tools and cross-commercial analytics to optimize commercial plans & resource choices.

  • Strategic Syncing: Experience working as "One Commercial Team" with Marketing, and Customer Development as well as Subject Matter Experts to deliver unified brand experiences .

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Customer Development or related field

  • 7+ years of commercial (sales or marketing) experience ideally in global, matrixed organizations

  • Proven critical thinking and advanced problem-solving capabilities including ability to uncover measurable insights from large datasets

  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement strong strategies for business growth

  • Strong understanding of the Consumer Journey Methodology

  • Strong collaboration skills and project management capabilities

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Fluency in English (written and oral)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior leadership experience in Brand Management, Retail Marketing or Customer Development, ideally Globally

  • People management experience, including teams of 3+ people

  • Pet Nutrition or related industry experience

  • Knowledge of Retail Environment strategy

  • Experience with and understanding of the Profession as a recommendation and selling channel

  • Strong tech-fluency and experience using AI-powered tools

  • Able to communicate in one of the Hub languages
