Job Description

Your main areas of work include:

  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting to support business decisions
  • Create (new) ecommerce insights on subjects as conversion, web/app traffic, returns, profitability
  • Discuss trends and needs with ecommerce, logistics, customer service and 3rd party business leaders
  • Proactively find ways of improvement on the critical KPIs
  • Participate in the forecasting- and budgeting process
  • Set targets, monitor progress and analyze impact
  • Build dashboards for the business to support daily operations and trade analysis
  • Presenting results and findings to the business and train them on using insights
  • Working with the business owners to understand BI/IT needs, facilitates the negotiation of requirements and communicates the requirements to IT specialists
  • Acts as a liaison between the business, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants and end users in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of BI solutions
  • Whilst reviewing operations, you are observing and analyzing the bigger picture to be able to find improvements on the critical in the end
  • Help growing the business with your knowledge, strategical skills and interest in retail management as well as following the latest retail trends to help drive our store operations to the next level

Who you are:

  • Great analytical skills
  • Capable of presenting an advice
  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in (Business) Analytics or Business Studies
  • You gained your specific omnichannel/ecommerce experience within a retailer or other B2C environment in a rol as analyst, business controller or (project)manager for at least 4 years
  • Work experience with Digital technologies, omni-channel marketing, and eCommerce solutions, functions, and business practices
  • Experience with creating dashboards and working in analytical environments (e.g. Looker, Tableau, GA, SAP)
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Structured approach in project management and collaboration
  • Demonstrated experience as a liaison between business and technology teams
  • Understanding of the basics of finance (amongst others P&L)
  • In your daily work you make use of your analytical and hands-on attitude to be able to deliver results in tight deadlines, keep track on project progress, work with detailed analyses and in addition to this you are highly motivated, flexible and open for international travels
  • Excellent English skills both written and verbal and the ability to use different MS Office (specially PowerPoint and Excel) programs complete your profile
  • You have a pro-active can-do mentality

Functioning as a liaison between business stakeholders and internal and external suppliers, the business analyst works to understand the strategy, needs and potential to translate these into business requirements.
