Who We Are
The Children's Guild is a nonprofit organization and affiliate of TranZed Alliance — one of the most experienced child-serving organizations in the Greater Baltimore/Washington region. Our OMHC provides evidence-based, trauma-informed outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and families across multiple locations in Maryland and Washington, D.C
The Opportunity
This is an outstanding opportunity for a experienced, new or early-career clinician to develop their skills in a structured, supportive, and mission-driven environment. As an OMHC Clinician, you will:
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents experiencing mental health, behavioral, and trauma-related challenges
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy) under clinical supervision
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with COMAR, HIPAA, and agency standards
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, school staff, and community providers to coordinate care
- Engage families as active, essential partners in the therapeutic process
- Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
- Support crisis assessment and safety planning as needed
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For
✔ Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required)
✔ Graduate licensure in Maryland or D.C. (LMSW, LCSW, LGPC or equivalent); candidates awaiting licensure welcome to apply
✔ Genuine passion for working with children, adolescents, and families with diverse mental health needs
✔ Basic knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
✔ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✔ Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
✔ Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
✔ Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
