About the Role
Pelican Point Power Station plays a critical role in delivering safe, reliable and efficient electricity generation for the South Australian market. As part of the Operations & Maintenance function within Generation Australia, this shift‑based role supports the safe and reliable operation of a large‑scale power generation asset.
Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, the Shift Operating Technician (OM Tech Level 1) works within a disciplined operations team responsible for the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of plant and equipment. This role is suited to someone with a technical, trade or engineering background who is looking to develop operational capability within a regulated, safety‑critical power generation environment. This role requires working a 24 x 7 roster.

About You
You hold a post‑secondary qualification in a technical, trade or engineering discipline, along with a current Australian Driver’s Licence and bring a strong technical foundation suited to power generation operations. Electrical and/or instrumentation qualifications and experience would be well regarded.
You also bring:
You are safety‑focused, adaptable and reliable, comfortable working in a structured operational environment. You are self‑motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and committed to building technical capability through ongoing learning and development.
