The role acts as the centre of excellence for how projects are taken from FID through to a successful start to Operations at COD. The role will support the regional implementation teams in their approach, providing guidance on specific subject matters as well as holding the regional teams to account in following the blueprint approach for implementation.

About the role

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the specific phase of O&M projects between FID and COD and manage the standardised FID to COD process with the regions
  • Support processes developed in the Bid-FID phase to enable an efficient project transfer into the region; including considering the standard assumptions
  • Being responsible for standard project reporting between FID to COD enabling a transparent and efficient steering and decision making within the region, or where applicable within the fleet
  • Ensure a continuous exchange across O&M project teams to maintain a continuous feedback loop into the process landscape and document database
  • Support the Implementation Managers and their teams during the set-up of the individual project after transfer into the region and act as SPOC for regular updates
  • Identification of lessons learned as well as development fields within the subject area and identification of (savings) potentials, incl. maintaining the lessons learned database

Job requirements and experience

  • Completed technical education (preferably with project management focus), alternatively an university degree in any relevant engineering discipline or equivalent education
  • Professional experience and a proven track record in operations and/or setting up of offshore wind farms, esp. between Final Investment Decision and Commercial Operation Date
  • Experience in process improvement exercises and/or management
  • Open and team oriented with the ability to work across multiple projects and regions
  • High level of integrity and reliability and a proactive, reliable and structured way of working
  • Strong interest in operational work flows and processes and in technical functionality
  • Willingness to travel within RWE Offshore Wind
  • Business fluent use of English in spoken and written form
