Job Opportunity: Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry
Location: East Midlands
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Full-Time / Part-Time

A fantastic opportunity has opened in the Midlands for a Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist, offering great benefits and a generous compensation package.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide clinical leadership to the multi-disciplinary team (MDT).

2. Lead the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients.

3. Participate in local leadership meetings and service development initiatives.

4. Engage in quality improvement projects and service evaluations.

5. Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to their professional development.

6. Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota and the teaching of undergraduate medical students.

Qualifications:

• MRCPsych, FRCPsych or equivalent

• GMC registration with a license to practice

• Section 12 approval or eligibility within 3 months
