Job Opportunity: Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry
Location: London
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Full-Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Older Adult Mental Health Department in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and psychiatric expertise to the Older Adult Mental Health Department and Home Treatment Service.

• Lead assessments and follow-ups for the most complex cases within the department.

• Support and enhance community mental health services for older adults.

• Actively contribute to the strategic direction and development of the service.

• Assist the Service Manager in effective service management.

• Conduct audits to improve service effectiveness and target outcomes.

• Collaborate with the Clinical Lead and Service Manager on quality improvement initiatives and service evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.

• On the GMC Specialist Register, or within 3 months of completion.

• Section 12(2) MHA approval or close to completion.
