Okta Architect

Location: Remote

Pay Rate: $65.00 per hour

Position Overview

A global technology and consulting organization seeks an experienced Okta Architect for a six-month fully remote contract. This role leads the design and implementation of enterprise identity and access management solutions on the Okta platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement Okta IAM solutions across enterprise environments
• Design and configure SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and API access management
• Integrate Okta with cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and on-premise systems
• Define IAM policies, governance standards, and security best practices
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to implementation teams
• Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Okta implementation and architecture experience
• Okta Certified Professional or Architect certification strongly preferred
• Deep knowledge of IAM concepts: SSO, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM
• Experience integrating Okta in complex enterprise environments
• Ability to work fully remote with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale Okta migrations or consolidations
• Familiarity with Zero Trust security frameworks
• Exposure to SIEM integration and identity governance tools
