Housekeeper
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness across designated areas of the mining camp or operational site, including accommodation units, offices, common areas, and amenities. This role is vital for ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all personnel working in remote and often rugged conditions.

Key Areas of Responsibility & Duties

• Perform daily cleaning of rooms, offices, kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas toestablishedhealth and safety standards.

• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries and other supplies in accommodations.

• Sanitize high-touch surfaces andmaintainhygiene protocols in line with health and safety regulations.

• Dispose of waste and recyclable materials appropriately.

• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment promptly to theappropriate personnel

• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and used efficiently.

• Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Assistwith laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.

• Support emergency cleaning needs andparticipatein regular site safety meetings or drills.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in remote or industrial environments (e.g., mining, oil & gas, construction camps).

• Understanding of chemical handling and safe use of cleaning products.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks and lifting up to 25 kg.

• Willingness to work on a roster schedule, including night shifts and weekends if required
