CSM Indonesia is looking for self-motivated and skilled seafarers to join our expanding fleet of Columbia Shipmanagement.
Assist the Chief Officer in the creation of Deck Department Maintenance projects.
Personal supervision of the quality and amount of work undertaken by Deck Ratings.
The maintenance of good order and discipline relevant to Deck Ratings, pursuant to Company disciplinary rules, Senior Master’s and Senior Chief Officer’s Standing Orders.
Assisting the Chief Officer in the administration of the Deck Department by completing Deck Ratings’ time sheets, collating leave requests, and monitoring leave balances whilst ensuring that the vessel is at all times properly manned.
Ensuring that the Loading Officer’s requirements with regard to stowage and securing of cargo are fully implemented.
The supervision of a mooring deck during port/anchoring routines, as detailed on board individual vessels.
Experience with multicultural working environment.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Effective English communication
Safety culture and mindset.
VESSEL'S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Minimum experience requirements: 8 months in Rank on the same type of vessel.
Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.
CONTRACT TERMS & CONDITIONS
Contract Duration [9 months +/- 1 months]
