Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking an experienced Oil Terminal Manager II to lead daily operations at one of our critical terminal facilities. This role is responsible for overseeing inbound and outbound product movements, maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting hands-on facility operations, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proactive approach to health, safety, and operational efficiency.

  • Lead and manage all daily terminal operations, including scheduling and dispatching over-the-road (OTR) shipments
  • Oversee customer service, scheduling coordination, and office administrative tasks
  • Provide hands-on support for facility operations and minor maintenance activities
  • Conduct daily inspections of terminal systems and ensure all compliance paperwork and regulatory reporting are accurately completed
  • Promote and ensure strict adherence to company health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Act as the point of contact for vendors, contractors, and internal teams related to terminal logistics

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in terminal, depot, logistics, or facility management (oil & gas or chemical preferred)
  • Strong understanding of DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations
  • Proven ability to manage teams, coordinate logistics, and maintain operational readiness
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to be hands-on and lead by example in the field
  • Proficiency with dispatching systems, inventory tracking, and compliance reporting

Additional Information

  • Work Environment: Combination of office and field-based responsibilities
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform inspections, operate basic tools/equipment, and conduct maintenance when needed
  • Travel: Minimal, but may occasionally be required for training or support at nearby facilities
