As part of a global Go-to-Market program supporting Oil & Gas sector sales growth, we are recruiting for our Bureau Veritas Energy Global Product Line an Oil & Gas CAPEX Lead (F-M-D) on a permanent contract.

Reporting to the Global Director – Oil & Gas, you will join a team of experts based worldwide!

This position could be based in any of our European agencies.

You will work closely with our operational teams and our clients within the framework of the global Go-to-Market program for the Oil & Gas portfolio and key CAPEX projects worldwide.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

Your mission is to strategically support Oil & Gas sector sales growth, aligned to corporate Strategic Portfolio Priorities and identified sales campaigns, ensuring Bureau Veritas is positioned throughout the lifecycle of key CAPEX projects globally. Your role is essential to expanding our breadth of scope in CAPEX projects globally, for example through Engineering & Technical Advisory services.

You will:

• Support the Global Director – Oil & Gas, with the rollout and delivery of the global Go-to-Market program to achieve ambitious commercial growth for strategic portfolio priorities and sales campaigns within the oil & gas portfolio
• Maintain visibility of key CAPEX projects globally and work with regional teams to position Bureau Veritas throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify emerging service opportunities and client challenges that can be translated into actionable sales campaigns and value propositions
• Support the development, tracking, and reporting of the global CAPEX sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are accurately captured and progressed
• Provide technical input, coaching and support to the sales community network
• Drive sales growth in priority portfolio areas in order to expand our breadth of scope in CAPEX projects globally particularly within Engineering & Technical Advisory
• Support the conversion of strategic opportunities by facilitating engagement between clients, commercial teams, and technical experts
• Provide relevant input to tenders and proposals for oil & gas
• Support the continuous development and refinement of CAPEX related value propositions, ensuring alignment with market needs and customer priorities
• Support the Global Director in representing Bureau Veritas at industry conferences, exhibitions, and client events
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and the BV network
• Liaise with and support BV operations during the early stages of onboarding new product portfolio

Strong commercial acumen with proven business development skills — Enables you to read the global CAPEX landscape, spot emerging client challenges, shape them into targeted sales campaigns and value propositions, and drive the pipeline growth that delivers our Strategic Portfolio Priorities.

Relevant technical background — Gives you the credibility to contribute to tenders and proposals, coach the sales community network, and position services such as Engineering & Technical Advisory alongside our technical experts at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Well established professional network — Opens doors with clients, regulators, and industry and trade bodies worldwide, so you can place Bureau Veritas at the table early in key CAPEX projects and make every conference, exhibition and client event count.

Influencing skills — Allows you to align regional teams, the I&C GPL team, BV Technical Centres and the sales network behind one Go-to-Market direction, so that priorities are shared and opportunities progress consistently across regions and functions.

Negotiation skills — Ensures you can bring clients, commercial teams and technical experts to common ground on scope, positioning and value, and secure the agreements that turn strategic opportunities into signed business.

Clear communication skills (oral and written) — Ensures your value propositions, pipeline reports, tender inputs and event presentations are compelling and precise, and adapted to every audience from clients and regulators to senior leadership.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

You hold a Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Engineering or Business from an engineering or business school.

You have 10 years of professional experience minimum, ideally with a strong interest in Oil & Gas CAPEX projects.
