
Hillsboro Medical Center, an Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Partner, is seeking a clinician-educator to support the community-based primary care residency, provide exceptional patient care, and further the educational mission. This position is a full-time academic position in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, Department of Internal Medicine at OHSU School of Medicine.
Faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine & Geriatrics participate actively in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and each other. Opportunities for teaching abound and participation is encouraged and valued.
The overall mission of the Hillsboro Medical Center Internal Medicine Primary Care Residency is to train physicians who are:
This position will include continuity ambulatory practice and potentially interim care for the practice. Clinical care duties will be the equivalent of 7 half days per week. Clinical work will include of precepting residents approximately one-half day a week. Evening clinic hours will be expected at 1-day per week. Communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other clinicians in our practice is essential.
