Reporting to the Supervisor, Occupational Health and Safety Contact Centre, the Occupational Health and Safety (contact centre) Advisor serves as a primary point of contact for employers, workers, industry partners, and unions seeking clarity on the Occupational Health and Safety Act, regulation, and Code. This role combines strong communication, analytical thinking, and legislative interpretation to provide timely, accurate information that supports compliance, reduces workplace incidents, and promotes safer worksites across Alberta.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following competencies:
University graduation in a related field (Occupational Health, Safety Management/Sciences, Industrial Hygiene, Health Science, Public Health, Environmental Health/Sciences, HR, etc.) ; no experience required; or equivalent as described below.
Equivalency Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of: one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.
OHS Certificate or Diploma is strongly preferred. Contact Center experience will be preferred.

Hours of Work: This position works Monday to Friday, 36.25-hours a week.
Location: Anywhere in Alberta
