About the Role
As an OHS Generalist, you’ll play an important role in supporting RAM’s safety culture across projects and operations. You’ll help ensure that safety procedures are understood, followed, and continuously improved while working closely with project teams and leadership.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, curious, and eager to learn, and who enjoys working with people to solve problems and promote safe work practices.
You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of activities including safety coordination, documentation, field support, and continuous improvement of safety processes.
What You Will Be Working On
• Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of RAM’s health and safety programs
• Assist with maintaining safety documentation, procedures, and records
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and internal safety initiatives
• Help coordinate safety training and onboarding requirements
• Assist with incident reporting, documentation, and follow-up activities
• Conduct or support site visits and safety observations as needed
• Work with project teams to promote safe work practices and reinforce safety culture
• Support internal audits and help track safety performance metrics
• Assist with administrative coordination related to health and safety programs
What We Are Looking For
• Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or related field)
• Approximately 1 year of experience in a health and safety role
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
• Interest in learning and developing within the health and safety profession
• Proficiency with standard office tools such as Microsoft Office
• A background in construction is not required. Candidates from any industry with relevant
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated annual base salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 as of the posting date. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training.
Please note that this range reflects base pay only and does not include the competitive bonus program or the comprehensive benefits package offered by RAM Consulting.
