UGL Transport Major Projects division is seeking an experienced OHLE Site Engineer to join the team in Brisbane and be part of the Logan Gold Coast Faster Rail Project.

About the role

·Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that the project is safely delivered in accordance with time, budget and quality requirements

·Effectively manage and monitor construction performance and progress

·Preparation of progress and compliance reporting

·Interpret designs for construction implementation and contribute to improvements to existing designs

·Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports

About You

·Bachelors of Electrical Engineering

·Previous experience in large scale OHLE delivery projects and have experience to coordinate within a multidisciplinary project

·Demonstrated ability to work successfully and autonomously within a fast paced project environment and deliver on deadlines

·Experience in procurement to ensure deliveries meet construction schedule requirements.

·Understanding of and ability to implement safe work systems & environmental controls.

·Must have an Australian Drivers Licence

·Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands

·Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
