We are currently seeking ambitious Qatari Nationals to join to join our three-year O’fuq Program working alongside colleagues to define, manage and achieve business targets across our global network.

Corporate and Institutional Banking

HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) is a markets-led, financing-focused business that provides investment and financial solutions. Through our international network, we connect emerging and mature markets, covering key growth areas. We partner with our corporate, government and institutional clients to help them achieve consistent, long-term performance. Our products and services include advisory, financing, prime services, research and analysis, securities services, trading and sales and transaction banking.

Role Purpose:

• O’fuq Program is 30 months to 3-year rotational program offering ‘on the job’ training experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment for new and recent graduates.
• The program focuses on providing participants with professional development opportunities and real time tailored personal growth opportunities.
• Four 9 months rotation across key divisions.
• HSBC O’fuq careers provide specialist development in specific areas of the Bank’s Qatar operations, and whichever route you take, you’ll be sure to get your career off to a great start. We will work with you to understand your areas of interest and your aspirations and offer placement opportunities.
• Developing Leaders: Our HSBC O’fuq program are all underpinned by the same desire; to maximize your chances of becoming a highly effective leader in a market-leading global organization. To help realize this goal, our graduate scheme provides a range of leadership development that run parallel to the business-specific training you’ll receive. We’re very confident you’ll be fully supported along the way, and here’s why:
• Mentoring Scheme: You’ll be assigned a senior mentor within the business. They’ll have real insight into how best to manage your career, and they’ll be available for advice and guidance at the times you need them most.
• Communication, Influencing and Business Partnering: This program provides you the ability to work effectively across the organization and will be critical to your future success. This program will challenge your thinking and really develop your interpersonal style and skills.
• Teamwork: Maximizing team performance is a skill we’ll be keen to help you develop. Short courses and individual coaching will seek to help you develop your understanding of team dynamics and your impact on others.
• Job Rotations: Four six-month placements will provide you with specialist knowledge of our operations.

Knowledge, Experience and Qualification required:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant area with min GPA 2.0/4.0.
• Knowledge of international business and various industry sectors.
• Exposure to and appreciation of working in a global environment.
• Strong ‘team’ skills promoting an environment of co-operation and trust, overcoming resistance where encountered.
• Possess analytical and financial skills.
• Good prioritizing, organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to make decisions.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Only Qatari Nationals will be considered.
