We are looking for a physically fit Offsider to join our team in Glen Waverley. The Offsider will work alongside the main worker to assist in various tasks within our logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently in a team environment, and meet the physical demands of the role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the main worker in lifting, carrying, and moving equipment or materials as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires frequent bending, lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods of time, and working in various weather conditions. Candidates must be able to meet these physical demands consistently throughout their shift.
