Royal Ocean Marine, a leading headhunting /recruitment agencies company in the maritime industry based in Singapore, is seeking a Technical Superintendent to join the client's team in Singapore. As a Technical Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vessels.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of the vessels, including maintenance, repairs, and compliance with industry regulations. You will work closely with ship personnel, port authorities, and regulatory agencies to ensure that our fleet operates at the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the technical operations of the vessels in the fleet
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement maintenance and repair plans to optimize vessel performance and minimize downtime
• Coordinate and oversee dry-docking and repair projects
• Monitor vessel performance and address any technical issues in a timely manner
• Maintain effective communication with ship personnel, owners, and other stakeholders
• Provide technical support and guidance to ship personnel
• Manage budgets and control costs related to vessel maintenance and repairs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Superintendent or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and industry standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Willingness to travel as needed
