What will you be doing?

Subsea7 is hiring an Offshore Personnel Logistics (OPL) Coordinator is a Filyos-based role within the Project Operations and Logistics team.

The selected candidate will manage, coordinate, and streamline all personnel logistics for the Sakarya Project in Turkiye.

As the primary focal point, this position bridges the gap between project management, the Subsea7 crewing department, offshore vessels, onshore worksites, and local husbandry agents.

The coordinator ensures safe, timely, and compliant crew movements while strictly adhering to Subsea7’s HSES, operational, and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

Personnel Tracking & Mobilization

• Primary Focal Point: Lead all personnel logistics activities associated with the Filyos Port Base and offshore crew change operations.
• Daily Coordination: Oversee daily movements of personnel between Filyos Port, vessels, offshore installations, airports, hotels, and project offices.
• Compliance Checks: Ensure all mobilizing and demobilizing personnel hold required travel documentation, visas, permits, project inductions, and PPE prior to arrival in the Marine Base.
• Data Management: Maintain real-time, accurate personnel tracking records and submit daily status reports on movement throughput to project management.

Stakeholder & Port Collaboration

• Access Control: Coordinate port access requests, ensuring total compliance with port security requirements and project HSE protocols.
• External Liaison: Partner with Port Authorities, Husbandry Agents, Marine Operations, and Logistics Teams to facilitate seamless, incident-free transfers.
• Resource Optimization: Monitor and manage local accommodation capacity, transportation networks to prevent bottlenecks.

Campaign & Emergency Planning

• Rotation Management: Collaborate with project management to optimize crew rotation plans and minimize operational delays.
• Campaign Support: Provide critical on-site logistical support during high-tempo mobilization and demobilization campaigns.
• Emergency Response: Act as a core support element during emergency situations, including personnel evacuations, medical transfers, and urgent accommodation adjustments

What experience would we like you to have?

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of direct experience managing personnel logistics in large-scale projects.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both spoken and written English
• Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of standard office software (MS Excel, Word, Teams) and personnel tracking systems.
• Mindset: Initiative-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision to solve complex logistics problems under tight deadlines.
• Industry Experience: Background in the Oil & Gas or offshore maritime sector.
• Local Knowledge: Practical experience operating within the Turkish regulatory and port environment.
• Safety Culture: Solid, demonstrable awareness of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
