ISS International Spa is seeking two (2) Offshore Methods / Installation Engineers with strong experience in Asset Engineering for Offshore Construction / Installation Vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
The engineer will be part of the Asset Engineering Team responsible for the execution of the follow activities:
Develop Conceptual, Basic and Detail engineering related to new vessel equipment and their up-grades
Support to the ASSET function as it may be required for specific vessel maintenance activities and drydocks
Involvement of HSE Engineering for scopes review, as needed.
Technical Bid Evaluation.
Technical support-follow up with vendors
Technical support (Technical Manager) of Shipyards activities from engineering to works supervision related to new vessels/equip. and up-grades .
For new and upgraded vessel, if required, Engineering Class Approval liaising with ABS, RINA, DNV.
Requirements
Extensive experience in Asset Engineering for offshore vessels
University degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering
Familiarity with structural analysis software (ANSYS, MSC NASTRAN, SACS, etc.)
Familiar with Structural design main industry Codes, Standards and Design Guides (API, DNV and ISO).
Familiar with supervision of steel construction works and offshore equipment maintenance
Fluency in English

One (1) Mid-Level Engineer: 3–5 years of experience
One (1) Senior Engineer: 6–8 years of experience
