On behalf of our client, we are looking for Offset printer / Media technologist (print):

Level Medior

Location Ernstthal and Crimmitschau (Germany, Saxony)

Model of work On-site (printing facility), shift-based work

The Opportunity:

You will be working in a professional printing facility with modern equipment and clearly defined processes, where teamwork and quality standards are key.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing printing orders, ensuring production quality, and supporting daily operations on the printing press.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1st Printer:

• Set up and operate the printing press
• Prepare and review printing orders and documentation
• Perform print approvals and ensure color accuracy
• Mix inks and match colors based on specifications
• Monitor print quality and machine performance
• Document production data and self-inspections
• Maintain and service printing machines
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety procedures
• Supervise and instruct machine operators when needed

2nd Printer:

• Assist the 1st printer during setup and production
• Prepare orders according to daily production plans
• Support troubleshooting and process adjustments
• Mix inks and manage materials (varnish, ink boxes)
• Maintain machines and ensure cleanliness
• Follow safety and operational procedures
• Replace team members when necessary
• Perform measurements and production checks (e.g. EAN codes)

If you are someone who has this set of skills:

Must:

• Completed vocational training as a Media Technologist (Print) or similar
• Basic understanding of printing processes
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Responsibility, precision, and attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset
• Basic knowledge of English and/or German is an advantage

Nice to have:

• Experience with large-format printing machines (e.g. KBA 145 / KBA 105)
• Previous experience in industrial printing production
