
Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong
The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:
• Monitor the processes of account opening application from physical or electronic channels to ensure completeness of customer due diligence documentation, AML name scanning, risk scoring and negative checking adhere to the Bank’s relevant policies
• Monitor the staff account maintenance request is timely and properly updated into relevant systems
• Monitor the return mail process, ensure the returned record is timely updated in system and the returned document is properly resent to customer
• Monitor customer information maintenance request such as Opt-out, phone banking maintenance, security token issuance, etc
• Monitor account service request such as cheque book application, signature imaging, bank confirmation and force customer closure
• Monitor personal internet banking (PIB) & Business internet banking (BIB) maintenance Verify the input correctness of document scanning, indexing, Signature imaging update
• Monitor other ad hoc tasks as assigned
• Assign tasks to the maker pool as well as monitor their completion within SLA and rejection status.
• Assist manager to review and update procedure manuals
• Initiate streamline ideas on daily operations to increase job efficiency
• Participate in different system enhancement UATs as assigned
• Ensure the instructions coming from BUs are duly approved
