Job Description

Core tasks

• Responsible and leading related Purchasing related activities in Product Innovation Framework [PIF]; ensuring Time To Market [TTM]

• Support and executing related Purchasing Strategy, Quality and Target Cost responsibility and accountability for the related PDP process to ensure TTM

• Take charge as one of main contact interface to PIF team (Commercial, Supplier Quality) / Assure aligned decision between PIF and excellent team and Material Field Purchasing

• Prepare aligned responsibility in Sourcing Strategy for each responsible product in PIF

• Coordinate Cross Regional Cost Reduction Projects

Job Scope: Responsibilities & Authority

• Definition & Maintenance of a Product Group Purchasing Strategy considering TTM

• As main contact personnel for related Product Group interface among PIF team – Value Stream-Global Purchasing to Business Unit

• Coordinate cross regional RPP activities in the respective new Product (responsibility in creation, implementation, cooperation cross-functionally)

• Early Supplier involvement in TTM to support Product Innovation and Target Cost Achievement (PILUM,

GENESIS, TOMAS)

• Support Annual Price Negotiation by providing new potential business opportunities of Product Group in pipe-line

• Challenge and support Material Field buyers to achieve Target Costing

• Support Material Field Buyers for contracting (e.g. SE-contracts, NDA, Concept Competition etc.)

• Create transparency of costs of Product Group by benchmarking (support the Global Product Champion)

• Responsible for achievement of Best Costs in Product Group (Benchmarking, TCO, RPP) before/after SOP

• Responsible for Product Group related quality activities & target achievement (e.g. ISIR, 8D, VQS, etc.)

• Takes proactive action & care of purchasing related topics/tasks in PIF

• Will be taking charge of plastic and other mechanical commodities.

Cooperation by:

▪ rBU cross functions Excellence Team; Material Field purchasing; Execution Team

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering with minimum 5 years working experience in

projects and procurement management (Bachelor Degree in Commercial with mechanical knowledge will be

consider).

• Knowledge and experience of new product development [NPI] as added advantage.

• Plastic injection moulding knowledge and plastic tooling knowhow will be an advantage.

• High level of result oriented and target achievement attitude.

• Strong interpersonal communication leadership skills and negotiation skills required.

• High ability to manage complex and difficult situation with full courage and accountability.

• Strategic thinking with high analytical skills.

• Always Committed and motivated.

• Quick hands on due to limited time to train up

• Multitasking , ability to handle multiple expectation from various project team members/ cross functional team.

• Independent , ability to handle project & face multiple stakeholder’s request at the same time.

• Experience in handling conflict.

• Ability to bring value from other company’s good practice to Bosch.

• Ability to lead others even without reporting line.
