[What the role is]
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in the outdoors and with people.
[What you will be working on]
You will be part of the team based on Pulau Ubin and will be conducting surveys, analysing data and conducting outreach programmes involving stakeholders. You will be required to liaise with consultants regarding surveys as well. Other parts of the job would include propagule collection, nursery care and maintenance, planting and monitoring. You are also required to support the team in their operations including weekend duty, inspections and public engagement activities.
[What we are looking for]
Areas of study in Environmental Management, Horticulture, or related discipline
Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
An organised, creative and resourceful team player who is able to work independently
Enjoy working outdoor and has a keen interest in nature conservation
Willing to work on weekends and after office hours
Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. Successful candidate will be offered a 11-month employment contract.
The Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT) is a technical agency in the Ministry of Defence that harnesses advanced digital technologies to meet Singapore’s security needs.
