The Production Planning Officer is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective planning, delivery, and management of line capacity to support operational execution and customer service targets.
Production Line Management: Develop daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production schedules that support business needs.
Capacity Management: Perform regular capacity analysis, weighing demand against available line time to establish resource needs and outsourcing potential, while communicating risks to the plan.
Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with Network Operations, SNP, Operations, and Equipment teams to drive operational efficiencies, execute operational strategies, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
Alert Management: Utilize SAP tools to identify and mitigate product shortages or over-production. Work closely with local CBS or SNP teams to set priorities and adjust plans.
System-Driven Planning: Support quarterly master data upkeep and SAP utilization to drive optimal automated planning processes. Define MRP data (such as Safety Stock, MOQ, and lot-size strategy) to maximize efficiency and minimize cost and waste while increasing service and quality levels.
Budgetary Goals: Continuously monitor net requirements against budget volumes for capacity and labor resource planning to ensure the effective utilization of assets and personnel.
New Product Execution: Support the Technical, Supply Network Planning, Operations, and Equipment teams to ensure preparedness and the timely execution of new product initiatives.
