Job Description

We are seeking a experienced and skilled Client Due Diligence and Operations Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and execute client due diligence and operations within the financial institution, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and optimizing workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire client onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Develop and implement efficient KYC (Know Your Customer) and Client Due Diligence procedures.
• Conduct KYC and Client Due Diligence processes, ensuring accurate data input for client onboarding, including corporate and institutional clients.
• Lead AML (Anti-Money Laundering) periodic reviews, including annual assessments for high-risk clients and biennial reviews.
• Review, update, and implement Client Due Diligence policies.
• Open counterparty accounts and handle ongoing KYC review requests.
• Optimize workflows and identify opportunities for system enhancements.
• Collaborate with sales, Compliance, Internal Audit, and other operational departments for client onboarding, periodic reviews, and ad-hoc assignments.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in corporate and institutional client onboarding and/or periodic reviews within banks or financial institutions.
• Ability to understand and apply regulatory requirements and standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
