The Securities Admission Team is responsible for the admission and onboarding of new securities into HKSCC. The team manages the end-to-end admission process for a wide range of securities, including equity IPOs using FINI, structured products, ETFs, etc. This includes close coordination with issuers, share registrars, listing agents, regulators, and internal stakeholders to ensure all operational, legal, and system requirements are properly fulfilled prior to listing. The team also provides ongoing support for post-admission matters, including security setup changes, eligibility management, and handling of non-standard listing structures.

Job Duties:

Job Responsibilities

Execute daily Securities Admission operations in compliance with clearing house rules, procedures, and internal policies

Review issuers’ listing documents and oversee the full lifecycle of FINI EIPO, including coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders

Recommend and implement operational process enhancements to improve efficiency, control, and service quality

Support automation and process reengineering initiatives to reduce manual processing and operational risk

Identify exceptions and contingency situations in a timely manner and escalate issues to management as appropriate

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline

1-2 years of relevant experience in reputable financial institutions

knowledge of asset servicing and nominee/custodial operations across equities, debt securities, and derivatives in Hong Kong, exposure to Mainland China markets is an advantage.

Familiarity with International Central Securities Depositories (ICSDs) such as Euroclear and Clearstream is highly desirable

Strong team player with the ability to perform effectively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Chinese word processing

Knowledge of Macros and VBA is an advantage
