Key Accountabilities

Scope Conduct rock samples laboratory analyses to support subsurface research and study projects.

• Prepare and process subsurface rock samples according to standard operating procedures.
• Operate advanced geomechanics and SCAL laboratory equipment to perform rock mechanics and special core analysis testing in accordance with SOPs and industry standards.
• Analyse and validate geomechanical and SCAL data to evaluate rock properties, rock-fluid interactions and reservoir characteristics.
• Adhere to ISO9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 standards, and Company’s SSHE policies.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, perform equipment housekeeping, and manage inventory of supplies.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive laboratory test reports and results.
• Assist and support other laboratory team members as assigned by the Laboratory Manager.

Professional Knowledge & Experiences

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Geology, Geotechnical, Civil Engineering or related field;
• A minimum 5 years of experience working in a laboratory.
• English proficiency with TOEIC 550 or above
