Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager - Credit Risk and under the guidance of the Head of Credit Risk, the successful candidate will form part of the Bank's Credit Risk function, supporting the effective oversight, monitoring, and governance of the Bank's credit portfolio. The role offers exposure to portfolio risk management, credit governance processes, risk reporting, and senior management decision-making forums.
The selected candidate should be willing to relocate to the specified job location.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer Credit Committee and other credit-related meetings, including the preparation of agendas, supporting documentation, and detailed meeting minutes
- Monitor key credit risk metrics, risk appetite indicators, and portfolio limits, escalating breaches and emerging trends as appropriate
- Assist in the preparation of the Bank's monthly Risk Management Report and other regular management and regulatory reporting
- Maintain and enhance credit risk management information (MI), ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely availability of portfolio data
- Perform data analysis and prepare ad hoc reports to support credit risk monitoring, portfolio reviews, and management decision-making
- Support the ongoing development of credit risk reporting processes, dashboards, and analytical capabilities
- Assist with other credit risk and governance initiatives as required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a high level of attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation tools would be considered an asset
- A qualification or background in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Familiarity with financial statements and basic credit risk concepts would be considered an asset
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Proactive, team-oriented individual with a willingness to learn and develop within the credit risk profession
