ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking an Officer, Colleague Services to support the successful delivery of a time-bound employee background screening project (6 months)
In this role, you will play a critical part in data collection, verification, and consolidation, working closely with the Project Lead to ensure all activities are completed accurately and within committed timelines.
This role is ideal for early-career professionals or fresh graduates who are passionate about HR project delivery, with exposure to employee data management, background screening processes, and collaboration with vendors, people leaders, and risk stakeholders.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Data collection and Consolidation
- Coordinate and process background declaration submissions for 2,000+ employees, including supporting documents where required
- Ensure all submitted data is complete, accurate, and properly structured for verification purposes
- Maintain organized and secure documentation in line with data privacy standards
• Verification and Vendor collaboration
- Perform data verification checks in line with screening methodology, policies, and SOPs
- Liaise with external background screening vendors to facilitate timely completion of checks
- Track submission status and resolve discrepancies or gaps proactively
• Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and deliver timely and accurate project reports (progress, completion status, risks)
- Support regular project updates with vendors and senior stakeholders
- Assist in ensuring all activities meet compliance and due diligence requirements
YOUR SKILLS & PREFERED EXPERIENCE
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume data accurately
• Good organizational and time management skills, with ability to meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data handling
• Ability to follow processes, SOPs, and compliance requirements strictly
• Collaborative mindset; able to work with multiple stakeholders (HR, vendors, managers)
• Experience or internship in HR operations, HR projects, or data processing roles is a plus
• Exposure to background screening / employee verification processes is a plus
