Application Support - Responsible for the Support and Administration of the Bank Application (Finacle, Workflow & Reports) and Services (LINUX) used by the Finacle core support team for business continuity. Ensure smooth running of the core application systems through process issue resolutions and optimisation where required. Ensure that all work requests/incidents logged on IT Remedy are responded to and resolved within the agreed time frame. Also, ensure that calls are escalated and communicated to the required support area and user.

  • ​​​Provide high-level competency with regards to application systems and platforms such as Finacle, Linux etc.
  • Successful resolution of application and system environment issues.
  • ​​​Reduced number of incidents.
  • Deployment of applications patches (custom and product).
  • Deployment and orchestration of containerized applications.
  • ​Creation and support of APIs and endpoints​.
  • Ensuring that engagements, deployments, investigations and other team activities fall in line with regulatory and governance guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bsc Computer Science or related field.
  • Professional certification in relevant field can be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 3-4years experience as technical support and management of Core and Peripheral Applications.
  • Experience using Oracle SQL, T-SQL and PLSQL, Unix/Linux Administration, Python, Backup & restore operations, batch Scripting, scripting and automation, Windows server administration​
