
The Office Specialist will be responsible for the receptionist, clerical, registration and patient scheduling duties of the Sleep Disorders Center. The Office Specialist has knowledge in Sleep Disorders and the clinical indications for evaluation and is responsible for insuring that all required pre-certifications and authorizations for patient testing are obtained prior to testing. Keeps Sleep Disorders Center files current and insures that reports are processed in a timely manner. Maintains an efficient, well-organized work area and projects a friendly, professional attitude to all patients, physicians and employees.
Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:
One years experience clerical/clinical in a medical office
Excellent communication skills
Excellent computer skills
