Responsibilities

Who we want… (Requirements)

· Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university – Architecture, Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Construction Management Degree.

· Experience with large-scale, non-residential construction projects is preferred.

· Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), tablets and smartphones.

· May also require working knowledge of scheduling applications.

· Should be an energetic, self-motivated individual who has a passion for collaboration and professional development.

· You should be able to always lead by example and be able to listen and follow all instructions provided by the PM team.

Qualifications

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

· Assist the Project Manager in coordinating equipment rentals across multiple projects.

· Evaluate quotes and proposals from strategic rental partners to determine the most competitive pricing and favorable lead times.

· Audit monthly invoices received from strategic rental partners.

· Assist the Project Manager with the coordination and scheduling of the construction management activities on projects.

· Develop and maintain relationships with strategic rental partners, subcontractors, project management teams, and field personnel.

· Update and submit weekly rental reports.

· Organize and maintain file system, and file correspondence and other records.

· May coordinate proposal and bid package information or coordination of document release.

· Conduct research then compiles statistical reports.

· Coordinate and arrange meetings and events, including preparing agendas, reserving, and preparing facilities, and transcription of meeting minutes.

· Participate in weekly coordination meetings with strategic rental partners.

· Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray’s safety program on site.

· Knowledge of construction equipment or experience in the construction rental equipment industry is preferred.

· Experience with Bluebeam or Procore is a plus.

· Must be able to travel within the United States up to 60% of the time. This includes the ability to accommodate last minute travel requests depending on project scope and needs.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Generally, normal office environment where noise level is moderate, and temperature/humidity is controlled. Overtime may be required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Indirectly supervises the activities of strategic rental partners and their field personnel.
