From commercial mechanical services to innovative cooling solutions supporting Australia’s AI and data centre infrastructure, we’re continuing to grow, and we’re looking for an Office & Operations Administrator to join our manufacturing team in Mitchell, ACT.

About the role

Our manufacturing division is in a period of growth, and we are developing many of our systems and processes from the ground up. Reporting to and working closely with our site leaders, the Office & Operations Administrator will play a key role in ensuring information across the division is accurate, well organised and readily accessible.

A core focus of the role is converting handwritten job and dispatch information into accurate records and tracking labels. You will establish and maintain a system that enables the team to efficiently produce delivery labels for outgoing goods. You will also oversee the general administration and upkeep of the office.

This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position based at our Mitchell workshop, with working hours of 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing

• Provide reception support and keep the office running smoothly, including stationery, kitchen supplies and general admin duties like filing and couriers
• Supporting site leaders with day-to-day administration and coordination
• Entering and tracking data from handwritten notes and job sheets to create accurate tracking labels
• Building and maintaining an organised system so delivery labels are ready to print when goods are dispatched
• Spotting gaps in how things are done and suggesting or setting up better ways of working
• Working with team members across the business to keep information flowing
• Check goods received against purchase orders and maintain accurate supplier and order records, preparing reports as required

About you

You are a capable and self-motivated administrator who can interpret a broad brief and deliver a well-considered outcome. You have strong computer skills, a high level of accuracy and the confidence to work independently. You will thrive in an evolving environment and bring the adaptability needed to support a growing team.

You'll have:

• At least 3 years' experience in office administration, operations support or a similar role
• High degree of accuracy in data entry and strong attention to detail
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Demonstrated initiative and sound judgement, with the ability to work autonomously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Tertiary qualification in Administration, Business or Management (desirable)
• Experience in logistics, manufacturing or a similar operational environment (desirable)
