Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The student worker will assist the Registrar staff with transcript assignments, scanning and clerical tasks, and special projects related to commencement. Hours per week can range from 8-15 hours.
The student worker will daily assist with the organization and distribution of external transcript orders.
The student worker will accurately ID and scan official documents into an electronic filing system.
The student worker will assist in the preparation of various data and functions related to each semester’s commencement activities.
The student worker will listen to general voicemails left for our office and will take detailed notes to relay to the Registrar staff.
The student worker will deliver various documents to other departments on campus in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
The student worker must be detail oriented and able to efficiently and accurately complete tasks concerning the maintenance of the confidentiality of student records. He or she must be strong in administrative and communication skills.
The Registrar’s staff depends on student workers to be punctual in arriving for their shifts and able to clearly and confidently communicate with his/her supervisor.
Applicant must have active FWS Award to be considered.
Required EducationMust be enrolled as a current student at Belmont University. Required ExperienceIt is preferred that the student worker have previous work experience in an office setting, however this not required.
